INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES

Students at UTHECS will be trained to:

  • develop commitment and intimacy with Jesus Christ
  • develop spiritual transformation expressed through Godly Character
  • demonstrate Godly knowledge, power and political skills required for gospel propagation
  • Integrate Biblical and general education into a Christian worldview
  • acquire leadership skills necessary to engage in their various ministries and kingdom assignment

We function in the following areas:

  • We train, ordain and consecrate
  • We provide international license and other credentials
  • We provide ministerial covers and mentorship to ministers and ministries
  • We organise conferences and seminars for ministerial and leadership advancement
  • We network and foster community outreaches
  • We confer honorary awards to deserving outstanding christian leaders
  • We train and commission chaplains in collaboration with recognized national and international Chaplaincy corps and colleges

UTHECS is incorporated under the corporate Affairs commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and approved as a legal Theological institution entrusted to educate, train, award degrees and ordain ministers of the Gospel.

UTHECS is an active member of National Association of Christian Religious Educators of Nigeria (NACREN).

UTHECS is affiliated to Triumphant Christian University of America, USA, which is fully accredited by the following agencies:

  • QUALITY FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ACCREDITATION (QAHE)
  • INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION BOARD FOR THE MARKET PLACE MINISTRY (IABM)
  • AMERICAN BIBLE COLLEGE ACCREDITATION (ABCA)

A standard leadership structure for a Bible college and Seminary often involves a hierarchical structure with the president, the principal officers, Board of Regents, directors, faculty, staff and committees.

THE PRESIDENT

Strategic Direction & Governance

The president oversees the operation of the institution, provides strategic direction, governance and oversight for the institution.

THE PROVOST

Head of College & Vision Implementation

He is the head of the college, he implements the vision of the college. He employs and redeploys staff. He supervises the staff and day to day running of the school. He recommends/and implements discipline on erring staff.

ACADEMIC DEAN

Academic Programs & Curriculum

The academic dean oversees academic programs, the curriculum, faculty development and student learning. He plans the school calendar, outlines tentative courses and assign lecturers to the courses.

REGISTRAR

Student Records & Enrollment

He manages students Records, enrollment and graduation. He plans matriculation and assign numbers to students, makes forms available for prospective students and release admission letters for admitted students.

DEAN OF STUDENTS' AFFAIRS
