Our structured approach to theological education
Bi-Semester System
We run two semesters per academic year, each consisting of 16 weeks (14 weeks of study and 2 weeks of examination).
Credit Hour System
Based on the Carnegie unit, our credit system reflects both faculty instruction time and student preparation time.
Transfer Credits
We accept transfer credits from other institutions for courses with a grade of 'C' or above that align with our curriculum.
Academic Definitions
Understanding our academic terminology
Credit Hour
The basic unit of academic credit granted by UTHECS for satisfactory completion of a course. Reflects the Carnegie unit with both faculty instruction time and student preparation time.
Pre-requisite
A course which must be completed prior to admission into another course to ensure students have the necessary foundational knowledge.
Curriculum
The pattern of courses leading to a specific educational objective. Sequential offerings that meet educational objectives and prepare students for ministry.
Course Coding
Courses are coded with letters indicating the area of study (e.g., BST for Biblical Studies) and numbers indicating the level (100-899).

Rules & Regulations
Maintaining high standards of spiritual, academic, and behavioral excellence
- Decorum, both online and in classroom must be observed always.
- Lateness to school or lectures is not allowed.
- At least 70% attendance at all classes for a course is required.
- Students must complete all assignments, tests and class works on time.
- Insurbordination to lecturers or staff members attracts penalties.
- Any form of exam malpractice is forbidden.
- Answering and receiving calls during lecture hours is not allowed.
- Missing lectures twice without permission will result in sanctions.
- Fighting or any form of confrontation is forbidden.
- Students must remain in lecture rooms during classes except with permission.
- Cultism or any form of unholy association is abhorred.
- Unapproved photocopying of college materials is forbidden.
- No unauthorized social or religious groups may be formed.
- Financial obligations must be met to avoid course suspension.
- Appropriate dress code must be observed at all times.
- No refunds for students dismissed for bad behavior.
- Students must respect one another and live Christ-like lives.
- All tuition fees must be paid into the school account.
- Certificates are awarded only after completing requisite courses.
- Every student is expected to be a good ambassador of the college.
Financial Information
Payment Policy
Students pay 50% of tuition at registration, with the remaining balance due in two installments before the end of the first semester. A 10% discount is offered for full payment at registration.
Attendance Policy
Minimum attendance requirement is 75% of contact time. Exceeding 25% absences results in automatic withdrawal from the course.
